Involvement in the arts is associated with a boost in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skills. Learning Art also improves motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork.
Students are exposed to an array of art forms such as Music, Dance, Fine arts, Speech and Drama etc. so they learn to appreciate art in different forms.
The skills learnt in the Performing Art classes find their voice during various events, which happen through the year. Our students get actively involved in creating props for our events. Festivals and celebrations at school are brightened up with their artistic creations, which line up our corridors.
Acting, voice, movement – the elements of speech and drama are part of our curriculum. Students are trained in drama, monologues, street plays and speeches which prepare them to face an audience.
Our dance & music sessions are woven into the curriculum to provide a platform for our students to express themselves.
